考试流程
整个考试流程必须由一名获授权的监考官（Exam Supervisor）现场监督，整个考试必须通过录像记录并由监考官监考。影片必须为考生现场演奏及不允许编辑，演奏录像中不允许任何停止，重新开始和拼接。

认证音乐学习中心核实监考官身份
认证音乐学习中心（Exam Centre）必须核实监考官（Exam Supervisor）身份，监考官身份证明文件上的姓名和出生日期必须和认证音乐导师证书副本上的一致。

监考官核实考生身份
监考官必须核实考生身份，考生在护照上的姓名和出生日期必须和考试通知书（Exam Notification Letter）上的一致。 在确认考生身份后，监考官必须在考试陈述表（Exam Statement）上签名作实。

考生提供考试曲目的详细清单给监考官
考生必须提供考试曲目的详细清单给监考官（Exam Supervisor）填写在考试陈述表（Exam Statement）中，并应使用以下格式（只须注明适用项目）：
‧ 作曲 ‧ 编曲 ‧ 曲名 ‧ 音调 ‧ 作品号 ‧ 乐章 ‧ 节拍 ‧ 摘要源（缩写）‧ 大纲级别 ‧ 生效时间

监考官宣读「开始考试声明」
考试开始前，监考官（Exam Supervisor）应告知考生和所有在考场中的人员关掉所有带铃音的通讯设备，并说明考试开始前和考试结束前会由监考官宣读声明。 录像设备打开后，监考官须以英语或德语版本宣读以下声明（斜体及绿色字部分宣读考生相应内容）:
“This is [Name of Exam Supervisor], VMEB Certified Music Tutor No. [Certified Music Tutor No.], supervising the [Grade Level] VMEB exam of candidate [Name of Candidate] on [Music Instrument], exam no. [Exam No.]. Today is [Date of Today], time now is [Present Time]. I approve the candidate identity authentic. The exam now begins.”

考生开始演奏考试曲目。

监考官宣读「结束考试声明 」
考生演奏结束后，监考官（Exam Supervisor）须以英语或德语版本宣读以下声明（斜体及绿色字部分宣读考生相应内容）:
“This is the end of the exam of candidate [Name of Candidate], exam no. [Exam No.]. I approve this video and audio is an unedited clip in one take.”

监考官检阅考试影片确保画质和音质
考试结束后，监考官（Exam Supervisor）须回放一至两分钟的考试视频并检阅考试影片确保画质和音质。 监考官允许给考生考试录像视频做出评价，并可以建议考生即时重考。考生有权自行选择是否重考。
